Introducing our ergonomically-designed trumpet mouthpiece!
After nearly 2 years of researching, designing, and testing, EQ Arts is extremely proud to present the first release in what will soon become a line of ergonomically-designed mouthpieces for brass players. This is just the beginning for EQ Arts, so stay tuned for updates regarding the purpose behind this business and its future projects, coming very soon!
Mouthpiece Information:
- Internal cup diameter of 15.7 mm/~0.618″
- #27 throat (3.65 mm/~0.144″)
- M = Medium Cup Depth (12.07 mm/~0.475″)
- M = Medium Rim Width (5.8 mm/~0.228″)
- There IS a recommended orientation as indicated by the “L” and “R” engravings
- Made from Uniformation ABS-Like, UV-Curing Resin and sealed on the rim using an FDA-approved, food-safe, UV-resistant clear epoxy resin made by Craft Resin
PLEASE take note of the “L” and “R” on either side of the bowl shell. The orientation of the mouthpiece is absolutelyessential for healthy and effective use of this product. Improper orientation may cause discomfort and unreliable muscle-memory may develop during practice and performances.
As pictured above, the rim of the bottom lip is raised slightly to account for the natural angle of the bottom teeth, as they sit slightly behind the top row of teeth. If you experience any issues with this due to having a natural over/underbite, braces, dentures, or other significant dental concerns, please consider reaching out via the contact page as compensatory models are currently under development and personal experiences from players with these concerns are hard to find for research and design purposes.
